TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Committee functions:
To assist with further development of the MINEX Initiative, the organisers of the annual Minex forum in Moscow proposed in 2007 to establish MINEX Technical Advisory Committee which consists of Russian and International executives and mining professionals. Minex Technical Advisory Committee ensures the growth of Minex Organisation as Russia's premier professional association representing individuals and companies in the mineral exploration and development sector in Russia and beyond. The Committee is also responsible for guiding Minex development and ensuring that the agendas of the MINEX events meet requirements of the Russian and International Mining Industry and promote highest standards of technical, environmental, safety and social practices in mining and exploration Russia and internationally.
Responsibilities of the Committee Members:
The Committee is composed of highly respected Russian and International Executives who have mining expertise and senior management background in public and private sector. The composition of the Committee reflects a balance with regard to different minerals and mining industries.
Committee conducts communications in Russian and English.
Members of the Committee are expected to provide free advice based on their professional knowledge on the matters concerning the strategic development of MINEX, planning future Minex events, proposing events structure as well as suggesting program content and key speakers. Members of the Committee act in their personal capacity and their opinion does not represent official opinion of the organisations which they represent.
Committee members agree to actively participate in preparation of the Minex events and agree to provide via phone or email advice to the Minex Management Committee and also agree to meet at least once a year at the MINEX annual forum in Moscow. All committee members are provided for their term of their membership with the free admission to the Forum and Minex Award Dinner. Committee Members generally serve for at three years or longer to ensure continuity. The committee members are acknowledged on MINEX website and annual publication.
